Fernando Leal-Audirac for Ocean Independence
On 2nd March 2009 at Galerie Zur Stockeregg (Stockergasse 33, Zürich) the visual artist Fernando Leal-Audirac invites you to join him in a unique tactile and sensual experience with the worldwide premiere of his Touch Me sculptures, created especially for Ocean Independence.
The flowing lines of a yacht have inspired the artist to create multimedia sculptures, elaborated in virtual reality and enriched with precious gems powder. The surfaces react to body temperature and light and texture deceives the eye, so that what you see is not what you touch.
Touch Me is a concept involving Art, Design and Sculpture, in which the continuous fluidity of form and line reflects movement as the effective bound between nature, science, art and technology.
